 The Grief Wellness Retreat is facilitated by Sheila Christianson, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and Grief Wellness Coach. Sheila is passionate about providing the opportunity for people who are experiencing grief to get away from everyday life – to rest, rejuvenate and to gain the perspective needed to move forward through loss. Participants are encouraged to co-create the experience they desire by exploring physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual ways of processing grief and loss and integrating it into their new lives in a nurturing atmosphere conducive to well-being and good health.
The Grief Wellness Program is an exploration of your grief process and integrating this journey into your new life. What does your new life hold for you?
How do you want to honor your loved ones – bringing their memory into your life now? This program includes materials, workshops, exploring the beauty of nature, rest and rejuvenation! It is an opportunity to connect with others who have been through similar experiences and to rediscover the new person that you’re becoming with some quiet introspection. A more detailed agenda will be provided to you based upon our registration process and what our participants are looking for to make this an amazing experience.

The program will officially begin on Friday morning at 10 a.m. and it officially ends with breakfast on Monday morning. Sheila will provide transfers to and from the airport, (if you would prefer not to have a rental car) for an additional fee of $ 50 per person. Please confirm your itinerary and arrange this with her in advance.

Sheila will need a deposit from you for a one-night stay in advance upon registration. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you and it is due by April 30, 2008.
 Meals: You will need to arrange for payment directly with Sarah at Gold Lake Resort.
Breakfasts are included each morning.
Snacks and Beverages are included with the workshops on Friday through Sunday.
Lunch options: prices range from $8-$15 for a la carte items off the menu at Alice’s.
Dinner options:
3 course meal served in the dining room: $39 per person
7 course meal served in the dining room: $75 per person
7 course meal, paired with wines, served in the dining room: $100 per person
Bar menu: a la carte items ranging from $8-$15 served in Alice’s bar
Spa Services: You will need to arrange for services/payment directly with Sarah at Gold Lake Resort. There will be plenty of time for you to enjoy indulging in some much needed pampering! Contact Sarah to let her know what you would like to arrange in advance to ensure the best possible experience!

Deposits:
Grief Wellness Program deposit of $400 (per person) is to be arranged directly with Sheila at (720) 220-7574 or via e-mail at Sheila@SheilaChristianson.com by April 15, 2008.
A deposit of $ 400 is required upon registration. The balance of $ 395 will be invoiced to you and needs to be paid no later than April 30, 2008. We accept personal checks or credit cards through PayPal.
Please make checks payable to Healing Palms of Kauai, Inc. Payment plans are an option. If needed, please contact Sheila directly to arrange for this.
 Shared Cabin deposits of $ 175 (per person) are to be arranged directly with Sheila at the time of registration. The balance will be invoiced to you and needs to be paid no later than April 30, 2008. This will be for four-nights (Thursday through Sunday) at a total of $ 700 per person, tax and breakfasts included.
